We make our way into Inverness travelling via the Cromarty Firth with its outstanding views where we may get to see seals and birds of prey including sea eagles. Keep your eyes open for our crocodile too!
Inverness, the Highlands Capital city, where you will enjoy a couple of hours to explore this friendly and vibrant city with the option to visit Inverness castle itself and grab a bite to eat.

We then head to Beauly via Loch Ness for a visit to Beauly Priory and you’ll have plenty of time to explore this charming Highland village.
A cheeky stop at Glen Ord distillery for a wee dram or two of the local beverages will set you up nicely for the afternoon.
On our way back we head to Loch Fleet nature reserve with its abundance of visiting birds so a must for avid birdwatchers with over 100 species recorded. Keep a look out for seals and other wildlife in this area which include otters, roe deer, pine martens and foxes. We will pass the ruins of Skelbo castle, famous for being destroyed by Robert the Bruce in 1308 as punishment to Clan Sutherland for supporting his rivals during the Wars of Independence.
